Basic Web Counter

The Following is an example call you would put in your HTML document.

<img src="http://ecom.eos.net/Scripts/counter.acgi$test/index.html/width=4" align=top>

The basic call to the counter is "/Scripts/counter.acgi$". Everything after the dollar sign is used as variables.

"test/index.html" is the directory, then the file which is being counted. You would substitute your directory for "test", and the file name for "index.html"

"/width=4" is used as a default width, to pad the counter with zeros if it does not exceed 4 numbers (9999, to be exact). Beyond 4 (or whatever number is used), it will just count beyond that. So for example, the page will show "0001" even if you only have on hit. If you didn't use width, the counter would read "1".
